Brief description of the breed: The Dutch Shepherd is a medium-sized, active and reliable working dog with a long coat. Originally used to help move flocks of sheep, the dog is versatile and can also be used to herd cattle or as a home guard. Today, these dogs are used by the police in the Netherlands.
