Briard

Brief description of the breed: The Briard is a large (but not heavyweight), handsome dog with a distinctive, long coat. The most typical colors are black with tan, but slate gray is also found. It is muscular, strong and well-proportioned. The head on a muscular neck gives it a noble appearance. Despite the hair around the eyes, they have very good eyesight! Adult females are 58–65 cm tall at the withers and weigh about 34 kg. Adult males are 61–69 cm tall at the withers and weigh about 38.5 kg.
