Chien de Berger Belge (Groenendael)

Brief description of the breed: The Groenendael is a medium-sized dog with a long coat and a rectangular frame. Although often confused with the long-haired German Shepherd, it has a more rectangular profile, a lighter frame, a more graceful head, and a light, lively gait. The Groenendael is black, and adult males stand 61 to 66 cm at the withers, while adult females stand 56 to 61 cm. They weigh 27.5 to 28.5 kg.
